Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-invasive treatment designed to replicate the look of natural hair follicles, enhancing the appearance of hair density.
This technique is especially effective for improving density in areas with thinning or receding hairlines, as well as areas with limited hair growth. SMP can also be used to camouflage scars from injuries or surgeries. It provides a reliable solution for hair loss conditions like pattern baldness and alopecia in both men and women.
Based in the Wolverhampton and Stafford area, Advanced Scalps is a trusted hair loss clinic offering safe, affordable Scalp Micropigmentation services.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

"The hard work is behind you – now it's time to enjoy the rewards!"
Pattern baldness affects both men and women, causing hair loss at the hairline, crown, or both. For a buzz look, keep the hair closely shaved. Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic tattoo that blends with natural hair for a seamless appearance. It’s proven more effective than other treatments for male pattern baldness, offering instant results with no downtime, discomfort, or scarring, and is more affordable than hair transplants.
Need a touch-up for your Scalp Micropigmentation?
Fading is a natural part of the SMP process, but it usually takes a few years to become noticeable—typically around the 2-4-year mark. However, the timeline can vary depending on factors like skin type, health, genetics, and sun exposure.
Aside from fading, you may also want to refresh your look or change the appearance of your scalp by adding more density.
Clients often seek to enhance the density of their hairline without the need to shave their head. Scalp Micropigmentation offers an ideal solution for those looking to create the look of a fuller head of hair, especially in areas where thinning has caused noticeable contrast between the hair and scalp.
Not seeing the results you hoped for from a FUT or FUE Hair Transplant?
While a hair transplant can restore significant hair volume, SMP tattoos can effectively conceal any scars left behind from the procedure. Pairing your hair transplant with SMP is an excellent way to create a fuller, denser appearance across your scalp, helping you achieve the best possible look.
Female pattern baldness, or androgenetic alopecia, are common women's hair loss conditions, usually starting after puberty and affecting the top of the head. Thinning begins at the part line and progresses gradually. Scalp micropigmentation can effectively treat female hair loss, offering thickening results. At Advanced Scalps, we have many success stories from women.
SMP can give those experiencing the effects of alopecia a much-needed boost in confidence.
Scalp micropigmentation provides a reliable solution for alopecia. While SMP isn't a cure, it effectively conceals targeted areas and delivers a natural appearance.
Scalp scarring can be effectively concealed with SMP. By blending the Micropigmentation with your natural hair, we achieve a seamless, realistic, and natural appearance.
